Nationwide RV Shipping Services – Safe & Reliable Transport
RV Transport - How It Works
Shipping a Recreational Vehicle (RV), motorhome, or travel trailer requires careful planning and specialized handling. Whether it is a Class A motorhome, a 5th wheel or a travel trailer, every step is arranged to ensure that your vehicle is moved safely and on time.
Step 1: Requesting a Quote
The process starts with collecting details about your RV: the type, length, height, weight and whether it is drivable or needs to be winched into the trailer. Pickup and destination addresses are checked for accessibility, as large vehicles like heavy equipment often require wide roads and clear entry points. Based on this information, we provide a complete quote to your RV’s transport requirements.
Step 2: Booking the Shipment
Once you confirm the details, we secure the right hauler or driver depending on your RV’s requirements. The transport contract is finalized and pickup and delivery dates are scheduled. Our team ensures all logistics planning is set, including proper routing for oversized RVs.
Step 3: Carrier Assignment
Our team makes sure your RV is matched with the appropriate carrier. If it’s motorized, a drive-away driver handles it. For trailers, a tow-away hauler with the right hitch equipment is assigned. Oversized or non-drivable units go on an RGN trailer
Step 4: Pickup and Inspections
On pickup day the driver completes a detailed inspection and records the RV’s condition on the Bill of Leading (BOL). Pics are taken before loading. Depending on the services, the RV is either driven, hauled or loaded and secured to DOT standards.
Step 5: Transport Monitoring
During the transit your shipment is carefully and closely monitored. Weather, road restrictions and clearance limits are reviewed along the way. You will receive updates from our dispatch department, including ETAs and driver contact information for direct communication.
Step 6: Delivery
At the destination the RV is inspected again and signed against the original condition report. If direct delivery access is limited, we can arrange staging at a nearby location for a smooth final handoff.
Final Word
When you trust your RV, you are choosing a partner that values your vehicle as much as you do. We know your RV is more than just a unit–it is your investment, your adventure, and in many cases, your home on wheels.
No matter the size, type or destination, our goal is to make RV transport simple and stress-free. With our experts managing the logistics you can focus on your plans while we ensure your RV arrives safely, timely and ready for new adventures,

What Customers Say About Their Experience
FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) RV Shipping
Can you transport oversized or extra-long RVs?
Yes, we transport oversized and extra-long RVs, including Class A motorhomes and extended travel trailers. Our carriers use specialized trailers and plan routes in accordance with all size and weight restrictions.
Can I get expedited shipping for my RV?
Yes. Super Auto Transport offers expedited RV pickup for customers needing urgent scheduling. In most cases, we can arrange pickup within 1–3 business days, depending on your location and carrier availability.
Do you offer enclosed RV transport?
We do not offer enclosed RV transport as it’s uncommon due to the large size of most RVs. Enclosed trailers are typically used for smaller or specialized units. For most RV shipments, open transport remains the most practical and affordable option.
What are the pickup and delivery procedures?
Before pickup, an inspection is being completed to indicate current condition on the BOL (Bill of Lading). The RV is then loaded onto the trailer, and when it is delivered, it is inspected again to ensure the condition is the same as when it was picked up.
Do you transport non-operable RVs?
Yes, we do. Super Auto Transport is capable of moving non-operable RVs using specialized equipment, such as winches, flatbed trailers or tow-capable carriers. Our experienced transporters will load and unload your RV safely - even if it cannot start, move or roll on its own. Please let us know in advance if your RV is not operable so we can assign an appropriate carrier and equipment to ensure a smooth process.
