What we do, and what we do not do

We are a broker, not a carrier. That means we do not own trucks. Our job is to price your shipment correctly for its lane, find a carrier with the right equipment and a free position on your dates, verify that carrier’s operating authority and cargo insurance before pickup, and stay with the shipment until it is signed for at delivery. The carrier physically moves the vehicle and its cargo insurance covers it in transit. The split of responsibilities is written into our terms and conditions and explained plainly in broker vs carrier explained.

Our credentials

How we work with carriers

Every carrier we assign must hold active FMCSA authority and active cargo insurance, and we check both before the assignment is confirmed. We provide you with the carrier’s details once assigned so you can check them too. Carriers in our network include open and enclosed car haulers, flatbed, step-deck and lowboy operators for heavy equipment, tow-away and drive-away specialists for RVs and trailers, and ocean carriers for Hawaii and Alaska. Carriers interested in working with us can reach our dispatch line at (208) 500-0800.

How a shipment runs

  1. You get an instant price from the online calculator and book with a pickup window.
  2. A carrier is typically assigned within one to five business days of your first available date (one to seven for specialty units).
  3. The driver inspects the vehicle with you and records its condition on the Bill of Lading at pickup.
  4. We keep you updated in transit and the driver calls ahead for delivery.
  5. You inspect again, note anything new on the Bill of Lading, and sign.

The full process is on how it works, and the pickup-day details are in how to prepare your car for shipping.

Pricing and payment

Quotes are generated per shipment from the route, vehicle, carrier type, season and timing; there is no price list because carrier rates change by lane. We show a cash price and a card price so you can choose. We accept major credit and debit cards, Zelle and ACH. What goes into a quote is explained in how much car shipping costs.
